The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) is working in partnership with North Lindsey College & CATCH to offer students the opportunity to pursue a career within the engineering construction industry.
Applications are now open for the Introduction to Engineering Construction (ITEC) Programme. This one-year course, starting in September, gives young people the relevant qualifications, skills, knowledge and health and safety awareness required to prepare them for working in the engineering construction sector.
An open event is due to be held at CATCH Redwood Park Estate, Stallingborough, on Thursday, September 7 from 5pm to 7pm.
“This is an excellent opportunity for those students who are currently studying for or in the process of applying for an engineering qualification and are looking for an opportunity to secure an apprenticeship or full-time employment within the engineering sector,” said Martin Eatough, ECITB head of apprenticeships.
“The programme will allow them to achieve all of the year one components of a formal Apprenticeship and, on completion of the programme, make them very attractive to potential employers.”
